100 Screenplays is a go… but we have not reached 100.
What are we saying? June 1 marks the close of the first ever 100 Screenplays competition, the new screenwriting contest from Screenplay Festival. With a day to go, we have received enough scripts to definitely hold this contest, but we have just barely crossed the 50 script barrier. What does that mean? It means that even though the promise of 100 Screenplays is to let the writer know that he or she is competing with at most 99 other writers, in reality, for this first run of 100 Screenplays the odds of winning are much, much better.
If you have not yet entered a script, Enter Today. And if you have entered a script but have a few others in your drawer… There may never be a better opportunity to have your material recognized than this first voyage of 100 Screenplays.
