The 2016 Winners!

Congratulations to the winners of the 2016 competition!  We would like to thank everyone who entered the contest, and will be doing all that we can to help the three winners to get their scripts into the right hands!

First Prize – Square One by Madison Roberts

In his mid-40’s, everyone’s best friend and dedicated high-school history teacher Dave realizes that he has been living a lie, and has to come out as homosexual to his wife, his two teens, his parents, his co-workers, and his students, but he soon learns person in his life who deals with his truth the worst is himself.

Second Prize – A Man Called White by Randy Hines

A black man who can pass for white struggles to defeat the specter of lynching in the 1930s as he takes the reins of the nascent NAACP.

Third Prize – A Royal Appointment by Mark J. Gossin

The appointed governor of Barbados, a gentleman of privilege and lifelong slave owner must come to terms with his own demons while shipwrecked on a desert island with two former slaves.
